Mitigate climate change

An old native American proverb aptly said, "We do not inherit the world from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children."

Apparently, some people and organizations do not subscribe to the proverb. This has brought us cumulative, scary, and dire unexpected consequences. The irreversible ill effects of climate change and global warming will affect everyone — the general public, uninterested onlookers and bystanders, clueless children, cunning perpetrators, heartless culprits, and the usual suspects.
