Ace Libre of Never the Strangers initially interpreted the song that came out with a new version on August 20, featuring Adjeng, the track's co-songwriter. Adjeng, with Nino Regalado, frequently made it to the final rounds of noted songwriting contests, and Philpop was no exception.
