AT least three mayors from the National Capital Region (NCR) or Metro Manila have received the Galing Pook 2021 award, according to the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Thursday.
The Galing Pook Foundation, which handed out the awards, cited San Juan City Mayor Francisco Javier "Francis" Manlapit Zamora, Valenzuela City Mayor Rexlon Gatchalian and Quezon City Mayor Josefina "Joy" Belmonte for their "innovative practices and initiatives".
