PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte will resume his provincial visits beginning on October 21 to speed up the development of conflict-affected and isolated villages, National Security Adviser (NSA) Hermogenes Esperon said.

"On October 21, 2021, the President shall be visiting Region 4A to put emphasis on the development programs being implemented in support of counter-insurgency operations in the region. The Presidential visits were put on hold recently due to the Covid-19 pandemic," said Esperon, who is also the vice chairman of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-Elcac).
