STATE-OWNED Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) announced that it has approved P38.28 billion in financing assistance to 110 local governments for the first six months of the year.

Emmanuel Herbosa, DBP president and chief executive officer, said in a statement on Thursday that the financing was extended to speed up the execution of vital infrastructure and socio-economic development in the local governments' respective communities.
