I've been a product manager (PM) for a few years now. Personally, it feels much longer than four years considering the speed in which we solve problems on top of another, and release new products on top of another. The speed of the industry alone — among others — makes product management more complex as it sounds no matter how much literature is available on the web.

As I mature more into the role, the different intricacies surrounding product management are becoming clearer to me. For one, I realize now that product management is a continuous cycle as opposed to a linear process that ends after a feature is shipped on live environment. It is instead an ever-evolving back and forth between unlocking opportunities within your problem space and testing out solution designs. There are a few more lessons I picked up along the way, which I outlined below in the form of ABKD. It's my hope that a budding PM would find this useful in jumpstarting his/her career in the tech space!
