THE detection of a more contagious subvariant of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in other countries must serve as a reminder to the public to remain cautious, Philippine National Police Chief Guillermo Eleazar said on Friday.
The AY 4.2 from the Delta variant was first reported in Europe and Israel.
