A low pressure area (LPA) spotted near San Vicente, Palawan might develop into a tropical depression in the next 48 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Sunday.
"Once it develops into a TD, it will be named Odette. This LPA brought cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms in the Western Visayas and Mimaropa," Weather Specialist Ezra Bulquerin said.
