This week shall witness the opening of one of the world's most important international conferences, the Conference of the Parties (COP), hosted by the UK Government. From October 31 to November 12, government representatives, together with about 30,000 negotiators, scientists, business people, activists, and policymakers from various parts of the globe, shall come together in Glasgow to discuss and agree on the best ways of confronting the challenges of the climate crisis.

The conference, called COP26, will also be attended by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Sir David Attenborough, Her Majesty The Queen, Pope Francis, US President Joe Biden, and Greta Thunberg.
