VARIOUS sectoral groups on Tuesday expressed their opposition to the Department of Energy's (DoE) plan to amend certain provisions governing the competitive bidding for procuring power supply.
Representatives from various business, consumer, youth and advocacy groups signed a joint manifesto opposing the proposed amendment to the Competitive Selection Process (CSP) to accommodate unsolicited proposals for power supply to distribution utilities (DUs) and electric cooperatives (ECs).
