THE Department of Science and Technology (DoST)-Region 4A and Batangas State University (BatStateU) signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) for the implementation of phase 1 of Regional Inclusive Innovation Center (RIIC) in Calabarzon, which is expected to produce outcomes for a more developed and accessible innovation environment across the region.
The RIIC is one of the cornerstones of the 2018 Inclusive Filipinnovation and Entrepreneurship Roadmap to strengthen the capacity for innovation to drive inclusive economic growth in the countryside. It is an initiative by the Department and Trade and Industry and DoST, supported by the USAid Science, Technology, Research and Innovation for Development (Stride).
