FORMER senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., a candidate for president in the May 2022 elections, told Cebuanos in a recent visit that big urban hubs, such as Cebu City, will be the centers of development in the future.

"I think we can always count on Cebu City [to being] a hub of economic development," Marcos said.
