PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has tasked the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippine National Police (PNP) to help hasten the delivery of Covid-19 vaccines across the country so that local government units (LGU) can meet the quota of administering 1 million jabs daily.

"As of today, nearly 109 million doses have arrived in the country and it is now our job to get these doses in the arms of every Filipino. May nakita kaming fault lines sa overall picture ng program ng vaccination. Medyo hindi ako nakuntento (We saw some fault lines in the overall picture of the vaccination program. I'm not quite content)," Duterte said during his prerecorded Talk To The People public briefing aired Wednesday.
