EMBATTLED Philippine Health Insurance Corporation's (PhilHealth) information technology (IT) system may be the cause in the release of reimbursements to hospitals, according to Health Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd.
Duque, who acts as chairman of the state health insurer, said that with about 100 million members, PhilHealth needs to invest more in its IT system to serve the needs of its clients and hospital partners.
