HEALTH Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd on Tuesday said there was a huge possibility that the lowest alert level may be imposed on the National Capital Region (NCR or Metro Manila) if Covid-19 cases continue to decrease in the coming days.

"Depende 'yan. Titignan natin ang numero at datos; kung ang datos ay patuloy na bumababa...posible na 'pag below 1,000 tayo or below 500 [cases] per day ay baka pwede nating ibaba to Alert Level 1, eh sino ba naman ang may ayaw ng Alert Level 1 (It depends; we will see the number and the data, and if the data will show that cases are continuing to go down and once we go below 1,000 or 500 cases per day, then we can go down to Alert Level 1, who does not want to go to Alert Level 1)?" Duque said at the Laging Handa briefing.
