Anti-communist task force invites Robredo for 'dialogue'

IRKED by the statement of Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo that she will abolish the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-Elcac) if she wins the presidential race, a regional arm of the task force invited her for a dialogue to apprise her of the role of the panel.

"We are aghast by your pronouncement that you intend to abolish NTF-Elcac. You said the task force might be used to harass the people. Allow us to correct your misconception," the regional task force in Western Visayas said in a statement on Wednesday.
