Fish output down 2.1% in Q3

THE country's fish production decreased by 2.1 percent to 995,466 metric tons (MT) in the third quarter of 2021, with decreases in production noted in commercial, marine municipal fisheries, and aquaculture, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said.

In its quarterly Fisheries Situation Report, the PSA said the latest figure was 2.1 percent higher than the 1.016 million MT in July-September last year.
