BACOLOD CITY: Mayor Alfredo Marañon 3rd on Wednesday said drilling operations of the Tambuli Mining Company in hills in three barangay (villages) of Sagay City, Negros Occidental, will resume after an exploration permit was issued by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to the firm.

Marañon accompanied Tambuli officers in a meeting with Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson to discuss the project in the Nabigaa and Sherman hills in the villages of Lopez Jaena, Bato and Baviera.
