WITH the PBA toning down the requirements for Filipino-foreigners, standouts like Jason Brickman, Brandon Rosser and Jeremiah Gray are looking forward to joining the rookie draft next year.

These Americans with Filipino roots were not able to join the 2021 draft after failing to secure the needed documents from the Department of Justice (DoJ). Starting next year, the DoJ affirmation of Filipino citizenship is no longer required by the PBA. As long as the player can secure a Philippine passport, he can join the rookie draft.
