TINGLAYAN, Kalinga: More than P8 million worth of marijuana plants were destroyed by police operatives and anti-narcotics agents during separate marijuana eradication operations that were conducted in Kalinga and Benguet over the past several days.

Col. Davy Vicente Limmong, director of the Kalinga Provincial Police, said that law enforcers conducted a two-day marijuana eradication operation in Barangay Butbut, Tinglayan, Kalinga that led to the discovery of two marijuana plantation sites with an estimated land area of 4,000 square meters.
