PHILIPPINE National Police Chief, Gen. Dionardo Bernardo Carlos, has ordered an investigation of candidates in the national and local elections who will test positive for drug use, including the unnamed presidential aspirant whom President Rodrigo said was taking cocaine.

In a statement on Friday, Carlos said he has tasked the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) to lead in the investigation that is provided under Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
