GOKONGWEI-RUN Universal Robina Corp. (URC) on Friday announced it is set to wholly acquire Malaysia-based biscuit company Munchy's.
The food and beverage manufacturer in a disclosure said its subsidiary, URC Snack Foods (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, entered an agreement with private equity firm CVC Capital Partners to acquire Munchy Food Industries Sdn Bhd and subsidiary Munchworld Marketing Sdn Bhd from CVC Asia IV.
