THERE are various investment prospects in the Philippines now that the economy is emerging from recession, the country's economic managers remarked during the 10th anniversary of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines Inc. (ICCPI) held virtually on Friday.

According to Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, Italy is a significant source of European Union foreign direct investment in the Philippines. In 2020, Italy listed as the Philippines' 21st trading partner, the 25th export market destination and the 18th import supplier.
