FILIPINO American Kayla Padilla and the University of Pennsylvania Quakers defeated UC San Diego Tritons, 60-55, in the US-NCAA Women's Division 1 at the Albert Gersten Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday (Philippine time).
Padilla, the 2020 Ivy League Rookie of the Year and First Team member, was limited to just 9 points on 2-of-9 shooting after firing 23 and 22 in the past two games for UPenn.
