Compliance, monitoring and enforcement

Last week, the 4-day Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement (CME) National Workshop jointly organized by the Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) was concluded with maritime stakeholders, both in government and industry conveying support to the recommendation drawn by the participants.

The CME national workshop was held as part of the activities identified under the Marine Environment Protection for the South East Asian Seas (MEPSEAS) project under the auspices of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).
