THE decision to allow Rappler Chief Executive Officer Maria Ressa to travel to Norway to personally receive her Nobel Peace Prize award rests with the court, Malacañang said on Tuesday.
"It is an issue we leave to the courts to decide. As an equal branch of government, siyempre, nirerespeto natin ang proseso ng ating mga korte (we respect the process of our courts)," Acting Palace spokesman and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexei Nograles said during the Laging Handa briefing.
