Maymay Entrata's 'Mpowered' turn on the virtual stage

It seems the music is bouncing back as the previous weekend was filled with live and virtual concerts.
BTS had their first in-person concert in two years at the 70,000-capacity So-Fi Stadium in Los Angeles. The group really knows how to put on a show and gave powerful performances before a sold-out crowd.
In the local scene, Maymay Entrata proved na siya ay tunay na "Amakabogera" at her first virtual concert. Titled "#MPowered," todo bigay si Maymay in performing tracks from her latest album.
Finally, SB19 had their two-night concert "Our Zone," in celebration of their third anniversary. Shot at the Araneta Coliseum, SB19 gave unique renditions of their songs as a way to thank their fans, A'Tin.

'Visionary' fashion designer Virgil Abloh dies aged 41

Virgil Abloh, a leading fashion designer and artist, has died on Monday due to a rare form of cancer. He was only 41 years old.
Apart from being the founder of luxury streetwear brand Off-White, Virgil was also the first black artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear. He was called a Renaissance man in the fashion industry, and is best known for groundbreaking fusions of streetwear and high couture.
Rest in peace, Virgil Abloh. You and your creations will never be forgotten.

Samantala, celebrity couple Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado got another dream come true — a baby girl on the way.
As shown in their latest vlog, ang simple civil wedding ceremony pala nila two weeks ago doubled as a gender reveal party for their guests.
DenJen have been praying for a baby girl since they both have sons from previous relationships.
Congratulations Jennylyn and Dennis.
Beatrice Luigi Gomez makes history as first lesbian Miss Universe PH

In pageant news, the country's bet, Beatrice Luigi Gomez has arrived in Israel for the Miss Universe 2021 pageant, which happens on December 13, Manila time.
Beatrice made history as the first LGBTQ+ member to win Miss Universe Philippines. She will be participating in pre-pageant activities before the coronation night.
Mukhang mag-pu-push through ang pageant despite Israel's announcement that they are closing borders to all foreigners para mapigilan ang paglaganap ng Omicron Covid-19 variant. But reports say the candidates were nevertheless encouraged to head to Israel and that organizers assured na masusunod pa rin ang Covid-19 protocols until coronation night.
