A member of the Daulah Islamiyah-Tureife Group was killed during an encounter with the military, reports reaching the Western Mindanao Command said on Thursday.
WestMinCom Commander Lt. Gen. Alfredo Rosario, Jr., said soldiers and intelligence operatives under the Joint Task Force Central were on operation when they encountered the enemies at Sitio Ulangkaya, Barangay Ganta, Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Maguindanao on December 1.
