THE Philippine government has imposed stricter testing and quarantine protocols for arriving international passengers starting this Friday amid the threat of the omicron Covid-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) variant.
Acting Palace spokesman Karlo Alexei Nograles said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) on Thursday approved new testing and quarantine requirements for travelers coming from countries, territories, and jurisdictions in the "green" and "yellow" lists.
