Headline inflation likely slowed to 3.8 percent in November due to favorable base effects, better local supply of food, and drop in oil prices, analysts polled by The Manila Times said.

Analysts projected inflation to hit 3.8 to 3.9 percent, down from the 4.6 percent recorded in October this year. If accurate, it will also fall within the government's 2- to 4-percent target range.
