FINANCE Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd said on Wednesday that the Philippines has so far borrowed a total of $23.4 billion (P1.17 trillion) from international sources to fund its Covid-19 pandemic response.
"From March 16, 2020 to Dec. 7, 2021, the government has secured a total of $23.4 billion in Covid-19-related external financing," Dominguez said during the Kapihan sa Manila Bay forum.
