THE Philippines will not participate in next year's International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championships Division 4, the federation and Hockey Philippines announced.
In a letter to the IIHF on December 8, Hockey Philippines president Christopher Sy said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has yet to allow the opening of ice skating rinks in the country and the team has yet to hit the ice after over a year of restrictions.
