FOR years I've been involved with the Philippine Football Federation (PFF), which would probably surpass anyone in this country, counting from the reigns of the late Francisco Elizalde, Col. Lope Pascual, Ricardo Tan, Rene Adad, and now, Mariano Araneta in different capacities from managing Negros national Champion teams to Vice Pres and presently, PFF adviser. Plus the blessing of being an AFC official under Peter Velappan and FIFA Director for Media and Marketing committees under former President Joseph Blatter.

I have never interfered in the running of PFF operations, especially in coaching the national team. Particularly up to now, with the acknowledged friendships I have built and enjoyed all these recent years with Dan Palami, manager of our Azkals national team, and the PFF President Nonong Araneta, two gentlemen I have respected for their dedicated leadership. And their love for the game.
