AROUND the temperate deal of cheerful bustle this pandemic-stricken Yuletide season, there remains the hallmark of Christmas: it's one special time of the year when peace rules the world, soldiers and terrorists keep truce, the rich care and share their bounties with the poor, people feel the joys and spirit of giving above all the frills, colors and symbols of Infant Jesus Nativity.

What hovers in my thoughts is, how an opportune time like Yuletide lives up to its good tidings, and musters the people, mostly the youth, care enough, and do good not solely for themselves.
