MAKATI City on Thursday announced the closure of one of its hotels where a returning Filipino from the United States had stayed but was reported to have skipped quarantine protocols and later tested positive for the coronavirus diseases 2019 (Covid-19).
Lawyer Michael Don Camiña, legal officer and spokesman for the city government, said the Berjaya hotel will be closed starting at 2 p.m.
