THE Philippine General Hospital (PGH) has limited the admission of non-Covid-19 cases because of the rising number of infections.

PGH spokesman Dr. Jonas del Rosario said the hospital will only accept "real emergency cases." Del Rosario said that limiting admissions will allow the hospital "to import or reassign some of its non-Covid personnel back to the Covid operations." The PGH has around 2,000 health workers and support staff involved in Covid-19 operations.
