HEALTH Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd has remained cool to calls to make testing for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) free in the country, saying that he'd rather spend the cost on additional benefits for healthcare workers and aid to those under granular lockdown.
Duque's comments came after multiple health groups such as the Alliance for Health Workers, as well as some senators, urged the Department of Health (DoH) to make testing available for free.
