THE Board of Investments (BoI) has approved a Zambales-based firm's application to export essential oils.
Iba Botanicals Inc.'s P109.5-million project is expected to start commercial operations this month, the BoI said in a statement. It will use organic farming techniques and is capable of producing 35.6 metric tons or 35,688 kilograms of essential oils — ylang-ylang, vetiver, and elemi in particular — per year.
