THE Department of Education (DepEd) Regions 1 (Ilocos Region) and 12 (Soccsksargen) were awarded Safety Seal Certification by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) respectively, ensuring the offices' compliance with health and safety protocols amidst the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
"This safety seal is proof that we are serious about making our people safe as they visit the Regional Office, also this is just the start because we will be doing this at the Division and School level as well," DepEd Soccsksargen Regional Director Carlito Rocafort said.
