FIRST of all, I hope this will be my last article on the Juico-Obiena brouhaha. The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) made a slight error in their last request for all coaches and athletes to stop taking sides publicly on this particular issue. I totally agree. However, they overlooked giving the same to officials. So, here I am again.

First of all, the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) cannot accredit any athlete belonging to any NSA (National Sports Association) or International Federation (IF) for any international competition, be it SEA Games, Asian Games, or the Olympics. Or else, of what use are NSA's? Rules are rules! But in case POC President Bambol Tolentino finds another loophole, within the realm of the IOC, we congratulate him. I've already stated in my column last week the past incidents why this can't be done.
