Out of sync and with disparate messages

THE nation celebrated Soils Day in early December and that tribute to soil was both necessary and fitting. Soil is the foundational requirement for building structures — anywhere from towering skyscrapers to residential subdivisions — and serves a function of uber importance to our nation's and humanity's survival.

It is the basic foundation for raising crops and raising animals, most of the food that feeds the planet.
