THE Department of Health (DoH) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) called for the continued provision of reproductive health programs and protection services against gender-based violence amid the surge in Covid-19 cases.
The call came following reports that women about to give birth are being turned away by hospitals, as these have reached overcapacity because of increasing Covid cases.
