CONSERVATION group World Wide Fund for Nature Philippines (WWF-Philippines) is pushing for a scheme that holds manufacturers accountable for the end-of-life impact of their plastic products and their packaging.

Based on the Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) roadmap released this week by WWF-Philippines, these companies pay a certain fee to ensure that plastic packaging is properly managed and at the same time eco-design and the elimination of unnecessary plastics are practiced.
