PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte enacted into a law a measure that promotes the use of microgrid systems for the total electrification of unserved and underserved areas.
Republic Act (RA) 11646, or the "Microgrid Systems Act," is a consolidation of Senate Bill 1928 and House Bill 8203 and signed by the Chief Executive last January 21.
