Support for the Angkla party-list group's attempt to recapture a seat in Congress to represent the maritime industry through this coming May polls continues to snowball among various associations in the maritime industry.
The latest industry groups to throw their support are the Ship Managers Association of the Philippines (SMAP) and the Marine and Technical Superintendent Association of the Philippines (MTSAP), whose officers and members met recently with Angkla first nominee lawyer Jesulito Manalo and second nominee Capt. Ronald Enrile.
