PNP to abide by Comelec on campaign restrictions

AS candidates for the national and local elections prepare for the official campaign period in February, the Philippine National Police laid out restrictions or prohibitions in line with the continuing pandemic brought about by the coronoravirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) as prescribed by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and the Department of Health (DoH).

PNP Chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos said that their actions will be based under Comelec resolution 10732, which institutionalizes the new normal in conducting physical campaigns, rallies, meetings, and other related activities.
