MANDATING the use of coco biodiesel up to 5-percent blend in diesel fuel for transportation will be good for the recovery of the economy and the environment, a lawmaker said.
By mandating B2 blend biodiesel for transportation, the Philippines has already reduced its carbon footprint by 16.31 percent, or 0.0125-kilogram carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2E) per liter, versus unblended fossil fuel diesel.
