THE Philippines on Monday began vaccinating children between 5 and 11 years old against Covid-19 in a bid to allow the country to move on from the pandemic that has prevented youths from attending face-to-face classes.

Camille Rodriguez, who had her son and daughter vaccinated at the Philippine Children's Medical Center in Quezon City, said the pediatric vaccine will also provide additional protection for her family.
