THE Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (Ipophl) and the Content Overseas Distribution Association (CODA) of Japan have signed an agreement to counter content piracy and promote international content distribution.

In a statement on Tuesday, Ipophl said that under the signed memorandum of understanding (MoU), both parties will build a cooperation mechanism to ensure the protection of copyrighted Philippine and Japanese works in their respective jurisdictions.
