THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Thursday started the deployment of equipment, peripherals and supplies for the May 9 elections.

Comelec spokesman James Jimenez said the transport of items started from the Comelec warehouse in Sta. Rosa, Laguna to various points in the country.
